ANOTHER OLYMPICS, ANOTHER CHALLENGE
Ones on the start line I feel complete happiness.This joy drives me forward towards the medals and dreams.
I will start here one day. I will be as good as they are. Those were my words about 20 years ago when I was traveling with my parents around the circuit. My dad was still racing and my mum was doing a team fyzio. Both of them were paddlers they tought me how to paddle and they will always be my heroes.
At that time I wanted to become the best kayaker there is. It wasnt a small goal but this dream is still somewhere in my head and drives me forward.
It is still there even when the big dream came true. I won in the Olympics with a huge pressure from everyone. But everyday when I sit in my kayak the sport fulfills me and I like it the same and maybe even a little more. Paris is almost knocking at the door and I will be ready to fight for the next Olympics.

Opět mistrem Evropy
Poolympijská sezóna se nakonec vydařila dobře. Vyhrál jsem mistrovství Evropy a celkové hodnocení Světového poháru. Na mistrovství světa jsem skončil pátý.
